Groove it Up at Your Christmas Recital

Groove it Up at Your Christmas Recital

It’s that time of year… Christmas recitals are peeping around the corner! A few teachers asked me if I would put together a little Christmas Recital Playlist similar to the one I made last year for my spring recital

And here it is!

Most of these songs are personal favorites, but a few were new to me, suggested by some of our awesome teachers at the Upbeat Mastermind Group. (Thank you for sharing your favs with me!)

But wait…

What on earth do you need a playlist for at a recital?

It’s simple really: music makes me feel good. It makes they relax, smile, and have fun. These songs are designed to help your students and audience enjoy themselves before the recital starts. (And after too!)

My playlists were inspired by Nikki Loney at The Full Voice podcast. For more about how you can make your recital special, check out her episode about “Hosting Great Student Recitals.”

So what’s on this list? Let me show you!

There’s a little bit of something for everyone in this list. I kept it light… no Drummer Boy here 😉 (My students will understand that one!)

To get a hold of my 2017 Christmas Recital Spotify playlist, just CLICK HERE.

P.S. Spotify is totally free to use (with some ads), and as long as you have a decent wireless connection or solid signal… you can stream music anywhere. And they have a premium option for $9.99 a month if you’d rather download your playlists.

P.P.S. Make sure to subscribe to my blog for updates! I’ll be putting out some really awesome freebies in the next month 🙂
