Resource Roundup: The Musicality Podcast, How to Stay Stressed, and Welcome Songs

The Musicality Podcast

The Musicality Podcast launched this week! It’s a free twice-weekly show geared towards musicians, music enthusiasts, AND teachers. Every week you’ll hear two different types of episodes:

  1. An interview with an inspiring and insightful musician or music educator, and
  2. A short “teaching” episode on a particular topic to help you improve

(Pssst… and in October you’ll hear an interview with yours truly about improvisation!)

You can check it out on your favorite podcast player.

OH… and they’re doing a Giveaway Launch special this week with a TON of prizes, so definitely check it out!

How to Stay Stressed

Stumbled across this little gem on David Gordon’s site while searching for vocal warm-ups the other day. This humorous list is guaranteed to keep you stressed out, grumpy, and in bad health.

Thank you, David, for your tongue-in-cheek humor!

Welcome Songs from Domestic Musician

If you don’t already follow the Domestic Musician, you really should! Her FB and website have great tips about teaching music in the home and classroom. (Make sure to download her 20 Fun Music Filler Activities — it’s at the top of her website!)

This week Jessica shared two really cute welcome songs via FB Live. These songs would be great for choirs, group lessons, and performance rehearsals. If you’re looking for a “name game” — the second song is perfect!

Thanks for tuning in for another “episode” of Resource Roundup. Stay tuned for more resources next week!
