Friday Fun

fullsizeoutput_1bbCreativity is an essential part of learning. As part of our snowman flashcard match-up, I ask students to create a “snow scene” and give them free reign of the chalkboard table.

Yesterday Mari and I reviewed the spaces of treble and bass clef… and we learned that “G” has a solid throwing arm

P.S. My student ornaments arrived this week! (I’ll give you a hint about what I got… the box is very noisy.) This weekend I’ll write my Christmas cards, and then I’m good to go!

Best wishes to all my fellow teachers out there! Good luck getting ready for the holidays and recital season! We’re all in this together.

Loved seeing this activity Sara. Such a cute and fun way to make something that could be very “academic” creative! Tell Mari I love her beautiful snow scene. 🙂

Thanks, Nicola! 🙂 It’s been really fun to give kids creative reign — I don’t think they get enough of that in school nowadays! I’ll be sure to pass on the compliment to Mari 🙂
